Knock doors, hand out flyers, or help run our socials. A few hours a week is enough to move the needle.
Join the teamWe gave the police more money, and got more crime in return. We haven’t recovered from COVID yet — not financially, not mentally. Our youth have no opportunities, and we are being taxed more than ever as a punishment for our hard work. It’s time to live again. I am Amjad Jilani, and I am running for Mayor to restore our beloved city.

We asked for the basics: lower taxes, safer streets, and real opportunities for our youth. Instead, we got the exact opposite.

I started posting because I was fed up — and it turns out, thousands of you were too. Here are a few of the clips that resonated across the city.

Questions people actually ask
I am not a career politician. I am a regular resident who lives here, drives these same broken roads, and pays these same climbing taxes. I’m running for Mayor because I’m tired of the people in charge treating our city like a personal ATM while our streets get less safe and our daily lives get harder.
I actually live the reality of Mississauga. The people currently in charge boast about having 20 years of “political experience,” and look exactly where that got us: a cursed LRT construction delayed until 2028, massive tax hikes, and skyrocketing crime. My qualification is that I am finally doing the math they refuse to do, and I am completely unbought by special interests.
This campaign runs on residents, not backroom consultants. The fastest way to get involved is to join our WhatsApp community, volunteer a few hours a week to knock on doors, or simply shoot me a DM on Instagram. I actually read them.
Yes. The political establishment relies on low voter turnout and keeping residents divided. When everyday people who are exhausted by the cost of living actually unite, no career politician can stop that math.

If you feel like working hard in this city doesn’t pay off anymore, you aren’t crazy. You’ve just been footing the bill for their mistakes. We are building a massive coalition of residents who are finally drawing a line in the sand.
