Powered by people, reported in public

Fund the movement.

Every dollar is reported. Every receipt is public. That’s the point. Contribute $100 or more and the City of Mississauga gives you a 50% rebate (partial refund) — up to $750.

$

The legal maximum a person can give a single candidate is $1,200 — total, across the whole campaign.

Give $100+ in one contribution and the City gives you a 50% rebate (partial refund), to a max of $750.

  • $1,200 hard cap per person — cumulative across all your contributions to this campaign.
  • Contributions of $100+ (single contribution) qualify for the City of Mississauga rebate (partial refund) — paid by the City after the campaign’s audit period (expected early 2028).
  • Maximum $5,000 total to all candidates on Mississauga council in 2026.
2

Your information

Legal name and full address — no aliases, no initials. Ontario law requires it for your receipt, and contributions over $100 appear on the campaign’s public financial statement.

3

Confirm your eligibility

All boxes are required. Checking a box you don’t qualify for can void your rebate and force the campaign to return your contribution.

4

Payment method

No cash — Ontario law requires every contribution over $25 to be traceable. Your name and account are linked to this payment; anonymous contributions over $25 must legally be surrendered to the City Clerk.

Bank transfers are arranged with the campaign directly — email [email protected] with your name and amount, and we’ll set it up (the same traceability rules apply). Card and debit go through instantly right here.

You’ll receive an official campaign receipt by email for any amount. Rebates are issued directly by the City of Mississauga, not the campaign.

Secure checkout by Stripe — card numbers never touch our servers.

The fine print, in plain language

  • Every contribution gets a receipt — required by the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.
  • Contributors of more than $100 are listed by name in the campaign’s financial statement, which becomes a public document.
  • The rebate (partial refund) program is run by the City of Mississauga: 50% of an eligible contribution of $100 or more, to a maximum rebate of $750, paid after the campaign’s financial statements clear the City’s review (expected early 2028). Read the City’s program rules.
  • Contributions are not tax-deductible and are not eligible for federal or provincial tax credits.
  • Questions about a contribution? Contact the campaign: [email protected].
