Powered by people, reported in public
Fund the movement.
Every dollar is reported. Every receipt is public. That’s the point. Contribute $100 or more and the City of Mississauga gives you a 50% rebate (partial refund) — up to $750.
The fine print, in plain language
- Every contribution gets a receipt — required by the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.
- Contributors of more than $100 are listed by name in the campaign’s financial statement, which becomes a public document.
- The rebate (partial refund) program is run by the City of Mississauga: 50% of an eligible contribution of $100 or more, to a maximum rebate of $750, paid after the campaign’s financial statements clear the City’s review (expected early 2028). Read the City’s program rules.
- Contributions are not tax-deductible and are not eligible for federal or provincial tax credits.
- Questions about a contribution? Contact the campaign: [email protected].
